Usually an aircraft has three travel classes - First Class, Economy Class and Business Class. However, there is Premium Economy Class on some aircraft in the fleet of some airlines. Some airlines have particular names to refer their travel classes.
First Class: The First Class cabin has the fewest number of seats ensuring the best leg space. The modern amenities in the first class offer a luxury travel experience with ultra-comfort. Travelers booking First Class flight tickets get the benefits of special facilities like priority check-in, free additional baggage allowance, airport lounge access, etc. It is the most expensive air travel class.
Business Class: Extra leg room and roomier seats are usual hallmarks of the business class travel cabin on an aircraft. Business class travelers are privileged to enjoy more or less the same facilities as those available to First class travelers. They are treated to premium wines and champagnes, which varies from airline to airline. Business class flight tickets cost lesser than first class seats.
Economy Class: Economy Class is categorized as the least expensive and most spacious cabin on an aircraft having the highest number of seats. The inflight services and amenities of Economy Class vary from airline to airline.
Premium Economy Class: Premium economy class is a better version of Economy travel class, in terms of seating comfort, amenities and inflight services. It offers extra leg space of around 5-7 inches, extra seat recline by 2-3 inches, extra seat width of nearly 1-2 inches. Travelers get the comfort of lumbar support, adjustable headrests and leg rests.
