Arrival in Istanbul :

Welcome to Türkiye and the historic city of Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred comfortably to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure while exploring the nearby streets or relaxing after your journey.

After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and begin a full-day guided exploration of Istanbul's historic treasures.

Roman Hippodrome:

The Roman Hippodrome was the sporting and social center of Byzantine Constantinople. Originally constructed in the 3rd century and expanded by Emperor Constantine, it hosted chariot races, public ceremonies, and imperial celebrations attended by thousands of spectators.

Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Mosque):

Built between 1609 and 1616 during the reign of Sultan Ahmed I, the Blue Mosque is renowned for its six minarets and more than 20,000 handcrafted İznik tiles that decorate its interior, giving the mosque its famous blue appearance.

Hagia Sophia:

Constructed in 537 AD under Byzantine Emperor Justinian I, Hagia Sophia was the largest cathedral in the world for nearly a thousand years. Its monumental dome and intricate mosaics represent one of the greatest achievements of Byzantine architecture.

Underground Cistern:

Proceed to the Underground Cistern, a remarkable 6th-century engineering marvel built to store water for the ancient city.

Topkapi Palace:

Topkapi Palace served as the residence and administrative headquarters of the Ottoman sultans for nearly four centuries after the conquest of Constantinople in 1453. Today it houses imperial treasures, sacred relics, and royal artifacts.

Grand Bazaar:

Established in 1461 by Sultan Mehmed II, the Grand Bazaar is one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world. With over 4,000 shops, it became a central hub of trade connecting Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Spice Market:

Built in the 17th century as part of the Yeni Mosque complex, the Spice Market historically served as a center for the spice trade along the Silk Road. Today it remains one of Istanbul's most vibrant marketplaces.

Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Istanbul.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, begin exploring the region famous for its extraordinary volcanic landscapes, cave dwellings, and centuries-old cultural heritage.

Göreme Open-Air Museum:

The Göreme Open-Air Museum is one of Cappadocia's most significant historical sites. Dating back to the 10th century, this monastic complex features rock-cut churches, chapels, and monasteries decorated with beautifully preserved Byzantine frescoes that illustrate scenes from early Christian history.

Uçhisar Castle:

The natural rock fortress of Uçhisar Castle is the highest point in Cappadocia. Historically used as a defensive stronghold and lookout point, the castle offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, fairy chimneys, and the dramatic volcanic landscape of the region.

Avanos Town:

Located along the banks of the Kızılırmak River, the charming town of Avanos has been a center for pottery and ceramic craftsmanship for thousands of years. Local artisans continue the ancient Hittite tradition of pottery making using the region's distinctive red clay.

Early morning offers an optional opportunity to experience a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia, providing breathtaking aerial views of the region's fairy chimneys, valleys, and unique volcanic formations. After breakfast, continue exploring some of Cappadocia's most scenic and culturally significant sites.

Pigeon Valley:

The picturesque Pigeon Valley is known for its thousands of pigeon houses carved into the soft volcanic rock cliffs. Historically, pigeons were used by local farmers for natural fertilizer, making the valley an important part of Cappadocia's agricultural heritage

Hunters Valley (Göreme Panorama):

Hunters Valley, located near Göreme, is one of the best viewpoints to admire Cappadocia's surreal landscape. The valley offers sweeping panoramic views of fairy chimneys, volcanic rock formations, and the unique terrain that makes this region world-famous.

Turkish Carpet Weaving Workshop:

Visit a traditional workshop where artisans demonstrate the centuries-old craft of Turkish Carpet Weaving. Turkish carpets are renowned for their intricate patterns, natural dyes, and handmade weaving techniques passed down through generations.

Özkonak Underground City:

The remarkable Özkonak Underground City is an ancient subterranean settlement carved deep into volcanic rock. Built to protect inhabitants from invasions, the complex features tunnels, ventilation shafts, storage rooms, and hidden passageways used by early communities

Three Beauties Rock Formations:

The iconic Three Beauties Rock Formations are among Cappadocia's most photographed natural landmarks. These three tall fairy chimneys are surrounded by legends and symbolize the region's unique geological beauty.

Rose Valley:

The beautiful Rose Valley is famous for its pink-hued rock formations that glow beautifully at sunset. Walking trails through the valley reveal hidden cave churches and offer some of the most memorable panoramic views in Cappadocia.

House of the Virgin Mary:

Located in the peaceful Solmissos Mountains, the House of the Virgin Mary is believed by many to be the final residence of the Virgin Mary. Today it serves as an important pilgrimage site visited by people from around the world

Izmir to Istanbul:

After breakfast, transfer to Izmir Airport for your flight back to Istanbul.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. You may choose to explore nearby districts such as Taksim Square and its surrounding streets.

Departure from Istanbul:
